Songs of Love Foundation is a non-profit organization that creates original personalized songs, free of charge, for children and teens facing tough medical challenges.
Our mission is to enrich the lives of children with life threatening illnesses and their families by providing year round, fun-filled group activities and destination events, fostering joy, laughter, normalcy and supportive networking opportunities. All of our adventures are geared toward the whole family, including the siblings, so no one is excluded.
We are a cross stitch group that creates cross stitched quilts for children with life threatening or life long illnesses.
What better cause to put their talents to then to help make some very sick and sometimes terminally ill children happy. To bring a smile in a often times dark moment to children's faces.
Children fighting for their lives have very little to smile about. You can change that by sending them some "Happy Mail." Cheery cards give these kids a few more smiles, a little more hope, and a reason to get out of bed each day.
Keiki Cards is a nonprofit under the laws of Hawaii. Keiki Cards' mission is to send out handmade greeting cards to children who have life threatening illnesses. Our goal is give the child support through the mail and to let the child know that someone is thinking of them. Children range in age from infant to eighteen. These cards are sent out every week to approximately 400 children (the number of children can change weekly from the addition of new children to children who have passed) in Hawaii, across the USA, and Canada but Keiki Cards is not limited to sending to these areas. Keiki Cards will also send monthly birthday gifts and holiday gifts.
Each month, new children are featured. A picture and biography describing the child and information about their family is published on the website. Hundreds of 'net surfers, schools, service organizations, girls/boys scouts and church groups use the MACS website as a philanthropic project where they can send cards, letters and small gifts to the featured children and their siblings through postal mail.
